Narrative
“Purpose of art, is to gain a different perspective on ordinary, daily living, I think”. Filomina Pawar.
My understanding is we (humans) are newborn babies (6 million years), seen on the Universe timescale (Earth is estimated to be 4.54 billion years old) experimenting with living. These trials and errors, (in the ways of living) have created a kind of chaos in how we have evolved. To sort out the chaos, our only hope is our brain, I think.
My circumstances, the art talks, and philosophy, having lived the experiences that I did during certain extreme periods of my life has put me on this journey, where I migrated into the depths of my mind and have come up with some ideas for my experimental art project of 'Utopian musings of my mind.'
I started exploring/thinking/imagining where/how/why we could have gone wrong in our evolutionary journey and what can be done to rectify these missteps. I am thinking of the POSSIBILITIES - how we all can have/live a satisfied, content life, a Utopian living in a manner of speaking.
My definition of Utopia is: “A place where nurturing environment is created for each child (eventually an adult) to grow up in freedom, to pursue his innate calling.”
So while thinking, some ideas pop up and these ideas are an attempt, to show the bright side, ideas bridging the gap between what we are and what we could be.
