Billions of unique thinking brains.
“Because we are endowed with the brain and have tremendous potential of billions of unique thinking brains, in principle, we should be able to live a harmonious life”. Filomina Pawar.
One realizes centuries old mis-doings (on hindsight) by “previous ours” because they knew only what they knew and acted on it. Centuries later, this has had its consequences (unknown to them, then or maybe known, eventually, but ignored; it’s difficult to change the mind to do things differently because it has gathered momentum) making it how it is today for us.
Now, when an abstract idea is separated from the person who got it, to give it an entity, the idea needs to be given a tangible form to focus on. In case of my 'Utopian' idea, it needs to be written down, making it a theory/philosophy, by default. (And because I have wondered why the philosophies from the past have failed in practice, I needed to put my ideas out in the public to see if it can work in our practical day today living, for a better World.)
Points to think about:
-My understanding is we (humans) are new born babies (6 million years), seen on the Universe timescale (Earth is estimated to be 4.54 billion years old) experimenting with living. These trials and errors, (in the ways of living) has created a kind of chaos in how we have evolved. To sort out the chaos, our only hope is our brain, I think.
-Even though we have the potential, our World is far from an ideal world. So for the beginning, we need lot of forgiveness from ourselves for all the mistakes/misadventures we have committed. We, being infants, without any guidance.
-The experimental art project: Utopian musings of my mind, is an idea. It is about thinking of various possibilities if/how our world can be made better for all. This thinking takes me to the root causes, where we could have gone wrong in our evolution and set those right because superficial changes only bring in temporary relief, I think.
-When we realize and accept that we have to live with each other (we, being social animals) or better said when our evolution and being is inextricably interlinked with each other, it is only just that we find ways of living peacefully with each other.
