Life is beautiful and unkind, two sides of the same coin.
"Life is beautiful and unkind, two sides of the same coin." Filomina Pawar.
If this is true, then it should be within our control to choose the side we want to look at. Each side has its own struggles, none is without struggle. So if one has to struggle anyway, why not struggle and choose to make life beautiful? Create a beautiful life, live a beautiful life.
One of the ways to live a content/beautiful life could be to figure out the innate uniqueness in each one and to create a nurturing environment for it.
I think that each person is born with an innate talent, which is uniquely his own. We are still unable to figure out how to bring that uniqueness to the fore and nurture it in each of us. So for most people, their innate quality gets lost/stays hidden. When one is lost this way, it brings them unhappiness of unfulfilled life. Then, they (have to) start looking outside for their happiness. (It's only when people have nothing of themselves, they try and show off with 'things' they possess, with the money they earned, doing things which maybe they don’t really like, getting entangled in vicious circle of unpleasant jobs, status and all the rest.)
The direct consequence, of figuring out and creating nurturing environment for the uniqueness in each person, would be that they will be able to experience the satisfaction of being and as a result will be able to lead a happy, fulfilled life (along with the other, natural struggles of living.) Because when we do something which really makes us ‘tick’, we are quite happy (that doesn’t mean we aren’t suffering then it’s just that we get some satisfaction out of that happiness and we accept and bear the suffering part along) this understanding, I think, makes life beautiful.
