CONCEPT
Utopian Musings Of My Mind : Experimental art project.
Imagining the possibilities : Yearning to be human.
(Un)masking the mind : Innate uniqueness.
1) Innate quality - The uniqueness.
(Just one way of better living)
I think each of us is born with some qualities/talents which is unique to that person. Because of the way we have evolved, these innate abilities, for most, gets lost/stay hidden. If we can figure out a way to bring those talents to the fore and create nurturing environment for the uniqueness in each person, it would cut out the all prevalent unhappiness (of the whole Humanity) of unfulfilled life and the superficial, unproductive emotions. I think that could be one way of making our world a better place.
Expanding on the concept - When one looks at the manifested, innate uniqueness of a person’s life in our world, we can see their quality of living. So very intensely they pursue and engage in honing their skill (I also believe that they have no choice in the matter) that they get all consumed by it. There’s no room/time/thought of jealousy, envy, greed, pettiness and such emotions. The pursuit of their purpose brings them such satisfaction that they are least bothered by the outside, material, temporary-store-bought-happiness. When a person is genuinely happy doing what he does, he carries that natural, wholesomeness with him that people around him get absorbed in its aura, regardless of their cast, creed, religion, language, genders, across borders. There’s an element of other-worldliness, sort of transcending human limits, just the essence of their being.
Consequently, the person is not only happy himself but also spreads it amongst the people around him, creating a pleasant, warm, “we-are-all-one” sort of uplifting atmosphere.
It’s only when people have nothing of themselves, they start looking outside for their happiness by showing off with ‘things’ they possess, with the money they earned, doing things they (maybe) don’t really like.
Note : We will also have to find/learn new ways to deal with the innate 'bad' qualities (than how we are dealing with them presently.) Hatred begets hatred, violence begets violence, becoming stronger in each cycle. We started with sticks and stones and now we have guns and nuclear weapons!
